CD135

Eliminate waste, manual proportioning and mixing, crawling about, and bending down. Instead, use a system that enables a crew to stand up straight and reach application rates of as high as 2,500 linear feet per hour. Daily production on large projects often averages over 13,000 feet.

The CD135 is the ideal package for most joint filling applications. The proportioning mechanisms, 18 gallon hoppers, and Graco transfer pumps all fit into a stainless steel cabinet. The cabinet is ceramic insulated so that the material hoppers and the interior can all be heated if necessary. The cabinet is 28 inches wide and 40 inches long. It, along with a compressor, are quite mobile on a a dock cart or pallet jack.

Joint Filling with Wand

No soft spots! You can depend upon it, because Lily's patented COCO™ valve synchronization combined with piston displacement assure flawless metering at any ration, temperature, flow rate, viscosity, or job-site circumstance. You don't sweat out the cure! For touch up, the dispenser becomes a hydrant to quickly fill caulking guns or other containers.

A roller-guided wand and spout steer the product into the joints rather than over them. With the Flow Management Kit , the installer has finger tip control over the material flow. The rate of flow is consistent without surging or wandering. It is regulated at the dispenser.

There is no day-to-day clean-up when using twin lines, only the replacement of an inexpensive disposable mixer. If a single line is used, a ten-minute cleanup is required.

The system will precisely proportion and dispense epoxies, polyureas, urethanes, polysulfides, and most two-component non-abrasive chemistry. However, the user must nevertheless pay very close attention to the delivered product, especially at the beginning. Some materials require far more mixing than others, and some ratios cannot be managed through twin lines due to hose dilation which will result in uneven surging of the separate components. In many instances, as single line must be used. Presuming the product has a reasonable working life of perhaps 20 minutes, it is quite manageable in the single hose. However, rapid setting materials often require special handling and even modification of the equipment.

It is difficult to predict the behavior of a particular product prior to actual installation conditions. Lily Corporation will try to assist with a product appraisal and recommendations, but does not take responsibility for poor curing due to mixing or surging problems.

Joint Filling Wand

Filling Large Joints

Pavement and Parking Structures

Filling the large joints typical of these applications requires a system that will dispense a lot of material fast. The CD135 or CD130 are the tools for the job. Either will dispense fifty to seventy gallons per hour, depending upon the viscosity, ratio, and hose lengths.

Lily dispensers are also used for installing pick proof epoxy sealants. The resin can often be placed directly into the joint or cove, or if not, provided on tap for filling caulking cartridges. See Caulking Cartridge Filling.
